Paul Duerichen
Tenor, Paul Duerichen grew up in a large musical family who performed a cappella music regularly. He has sung with several barbershop choruses, including the Mt. Baker Toppers of Lynden, Washington.
During the week, Paul works as a commercial transport
mechanic and practices during his breaks.
Paul has been with Opera Pro Cantanti since
2008.
His first appearance with OPC was Alfredo in Verdi's La Traviata, his first role in the opera world.
He has also sung the role of Macduff in Macbeth, a new performance opening in October 2107.
In addition to La Traviata (Alfredo) – Macbeth (Macduff) – Norma- (Pollione) - Paul has also, sung in OPC's production of Nabucco (Ismaele) and Un Ballo in Maschera (Gustavo)
In the near future, in OPC's new production of Bellini's
Norma the
role of Pollione, coming in January or February 2018.
