Peter Munns

Bass singer, Peter Munns, started watching opera with his parents, who were members of the renowned Glyndebourne Festival Opera in England. Four years ago, he began singing opera excerpts. He has studied with Eduard Krautter, Richard Williams and Frank Klassen. Peters roles include Father (Hansel and Gretel) and Policeman (Pirates of Penzance). He has sung with Opera Appassionata, Dragon Diva Opera, and the Vivaldi Chamber Choir the latter for fifteen years.

Music is a family affair for Peter: he is especially pleased to sing in OPC with his wife and one of his daughters. His wife and his other daughter join him in the Vivaldi Chamber Choir. In his day job, Peter is a periodontist. He says "it is never too late to start singing opera - as a round table member of Vancouver Opera for over twenty years I am delighted to be on the other side of the footlights!"
